A new scholarship has been established at WVU Parkersburg in honor of the late Nancy Rauch Harris, who was known for her dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives on campus. The Nancy Rauch Harris Memorial Scholarship, organized by Harris’ spouse Alice Harris, will provide support to marginalized students and continue Nancy’s legacy of compassion and generosity. WVU Parkersburg President Torie Jackson praised Nancy’s commitment to helping students and creating equitable opportunities for all. The scholarship aims to encourage students to follow Nancy’s example and make a positive impact in their communities. Donations can be made to the scholarship fund through the WVU Parkersburg Foundation website or by mail. The scholarship serves as a lasting tribute to Nancy’s selfless spirit and dedication to helping those in need, ensuring that her legacy continues to shine.
