The Dallas Cowboys have reached a historic agreement with quarterback Dak Prescott, signing him to a four-year, $240 million contract that includes $231 million in guaranteed money, making him the highest-paid player in NFL history. Prescott, who was drafted in 2016, has a 73-41 record in his career with the Cowboys, but only a 2-5 record in the postseason. Last season, he set career highs in completions and touchdowns, leading Dallas to a 12-5 record before losing in the playoffs. Prescott joins his top receiver CeeDee Lamb in signing a new contract this offseason, both now with deals through 2028. The Cowboys will kick off their season against the Cleveland Browns.
