Two standout high school athletes have been recognized for their impressive performances in their respective sports. Brooke Spatafore and Toby Cochran have been named the Graham-Simon Plumbing/WV News Athletes of the Week.
Brooke Spatafore, a senior at University High School, showed her skills on the cross country course by winning the Region I Championship. She finished with a time of 19:57.4, leading her team to victory as well. Spatafore’s hard work and dedication have paid off, and she has proven herself to be a strong competitor in the sport.
On the other hand, Toby Cochran, a junior at Morgantown High School, stood out on the football field with an outstanding performance. Cochran rushed for 232 yards and scored four touchdowns in a game against John Marshall High School. His exceptional skills and ability to make plays have made him a valuable asset to his team.
