Additionally, fragments of a Russian drone were recovered in Romania near the Ukrainian border.
In a separate incident, Ukrainian investigators found cash totaling nearly $6 million during a raid on the home of a state official involved in helping individuals avoid military mobilization. In Belarus, 12 people were sentenced to prison terms for the 2023 sabotage of a Russian military plane, a move blamed on pro-Ukraine activists. Russia also sentenced a Crimean man to 14 years on treason charges for allegedly aiding the Ukrainian military.
Lastly, Ukrainian feminist activists staged a topless protest outside the Iranian embassy in Kyiv, accusing Iran of arming Russia. The Femen group, known for their provocative protests, displayed anti-Iran and anti-Russia slogans during the demonstration.
