Donald Trump’s spontaneous dance moves at a political rally a month ago have become a trend at sporting events across the country. After two attendees fainted at the rally, Trump decided to dance for roughly 40 minutes, and the footage of the event went viral. Recently, San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa celebrated a sack with a dance inspired by Trump, who had just been re-elected. This was not the first time Bosa had referenced Trump on the field, as he was previously fined for wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat during a postgame interview. At a UFC event in New York, UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones mimicked Trump’s gestures as Trump sat ringside and smiled. The following day, more NFL players mimicked Trump’s gestures after making big plays. Overall, Trump’s dance moves have become a popular form of celebration in the world of sports following his reelection.
