West Virginia drops to 15th in AP Poll

The West Virginia University women’s basketball team dropped three spots to No. 15 in the latest AP Top 25 Women’s Basketball Poll. The Mountaineers, under second-year head coach Mark Kellogg, have an 8-1 record this season, with their only loss coming against now No. 4 Texas. In addition to their ranking in the AP poll, WVU is also ranked at No. 10 in the NCAA’s first NET ranking of the season. They will next face East Tennessee State on December 6 for Education Day at the WVU Coliseum. The Big 12 conference is well-represented in the rankings, with TCU, Kansas State, and Iowa State also making appearances. Baylor and Utah are also receiving votes in the poll. The team will look to bounce back from their recent loss and continue their successful season as they face their upcoming opponent.
