Latest updates on the Ukraine-Russia conflict: US cautions about Putin’s potential use of deadly new ballistic missile in upcoming days on Kyiv.

A recent development in the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine has indicated that Russia may be preparing to launch another hypersonic ballistic missile in Ukraine in the coming days. President Vladimir Putin introduced the Oreshnik missile as a response to Ukraine’s use of US and British missiles against Russian territory. Despite Putin’s claims that the Oreshnik missile is unstoppable and comparable to a nuclear weapon in its destructive power, a US official has downplayed its significance, calling it an experimental weapon that is unlikely to change the course of the war.

The ongoing conflict has resulted in devastating human and material losses for Ukraine, with thousands of civilians killed and wounded since Russia’s full-scale invasion. Western countries believe Russia has also suffered significant casualties, but Ukraine, with a smaller population, is facing severe manpower shortages due to the prolonged battles of attrition. Russia currently occupies and claims to have annexed a significant portion of Ukraine’s territory, leading to economic challenges for the country.

In response to recent developments, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has criticized Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban for discussing the war with Putin without including Ukraine in the conversation. Russia has also accused Ukraine of attacking a military airfield with US-supplied ATACMS missiles, promising retaliation.

Despite the ongoing conflict, Russia has announced plans to collaborate with BRICS partners to develop artificial intelligence, aiming to challenge the dominance of the United States in this technology. The situation in Ukraine remains tense as Russian forces continue to advance towards strategic hubs, causing further destruction and casualties.
