Indiana supermarket shooting leaves 3 dead and 2 wounded police officers


Three people were killed, including the shooter, and two police officers were injured in a shooting at a supermarket in Elkhart, Indiana. The incident took place at Martin’s Supermarket, with police receiving a call at 5:30 p.m. responding to the shooting. Two victims were found dead inside the store, while the shooting suspect was engaged by officers outside and subsequently shot and killed.

Indiana Governor Mike Braun also expressed condolences, stating that details are being communicated with state and local law enforcement. The community is urged to keep those affected by the shooting in their thoughts and prayers.
