Nemacolin Resort Designated as the Official Resort Partner of West Virginia Athletics


West Virginia Athletics has announced a new partnership with Nemacolin, naming the Pennsylvania resort as the “Official Resort of West Virginia Athletics.” This collaboration, facilitated by Mountaineer Sports Properties, includes Nemacolin becoming one of WVU Athletics’ top corporate partners. The resort will have field-level signage at Milan Puskar Stadium and can use WVU logos in their marketing materials.

Nemacolin’s owner and CEO, Maggie Hardy, expressed excitement about the partnership, noting their commitment to creating exceptional experiences for guests and supporting education in the hospitality industry. In addition to sponsoring WVU Athletics, Nemacolin has made a multi-million dollar investment in the university to provide scholarships and internship stipends for Hospitality and Tourism Management students.

Evan Hawkins, General Manager of Mountaineer Sports Properties, emphasized Nemacolin’s dedication to providing an incredible experience for Mountaineer fans and the Morgantown community. Learfield, the media and technology company powering college sports, is the exclusive multimedia rights holder for West Virginia Athletics and manages all sponsorships and advertising on behalf of the Mountaineers.

Nemacolin, a renowned resort in Pennsylvania’s Laurel Highlands, offers a variety of amenities, including accommodations, dining, golf courses, spa services, and outdoor activities. With over 2,200 acres of space, Nemacolin provides a four-season playground for guests to enjoy. West Virginia University’s athletic department sponsors 18 varsity sports and strives for national excellence in its athletics program.
