The West Virginia University women’s tennis team is gearing up to face VCU and William and Mary on their second road trip of the season. After a tough road swing where they lost to Xavier and Michigan State, the Mountaineers are looking to bounce back. Senior Michaela Kucharova has been a standout player so far, with a 3-1 record in singles play.
West Virginia has historically struggled against VCU, with a 3-8 all-time record, and they are seeking their first win against them since 2021. On the other hand, the Mountaineers have a better record against William and Mary, with a 2-5 all-time record and a victory against them last season. The match against William and Mary will not be livestreamed, but final results will be available at WVUsports.com.
