Bridgeport High School star athlete, Carter Zuliani, has officially signed his national letter of intent to play football for West Virginia University. The 6-foot-6, 230-pound multi-sport athlete, who also excels in basketball, track, and swimming, will join the Mountaineers as a tight end. Zuliani announced his commitment on January 26, before signing on National Signing Day.
During his 2024 high school season, Zuliani demonstrated his versatility on the field with two receptions for 47 yards, blocking a punt, and making up to four tackles per game on defense. He ultimately chose WVU over four Division I offers, including one from Youngstown State, after receiving an offer from inside receivers coach Blaine Stewart.
In an interview with WV Sports Now, Zuliani discussed his connection to the WVU program, highlighting his family’s deep ties to the university. Despite also being in communication with Marshall, Zuliani felt that WVU was the right fit for him and is excited to join the Mountaineers for the upcoming season.
As Zuliani prepares to embark on his college football career, WVU fans can look forward to seeing his athleticism and talent on the field. Stay tuned for more updates on WVU football recruiting at WV Sports Now.
