Nick Saban, a national record-setting college football coach, is set to be inducted into the West Virginia Sports Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. He boasted an overall record of 201-29 at Alabama and had 15 consecutive seasons with a No. 1 AP ranking. Saban was also recognized for his ability to develop talent, producing 66 First Team All-Americans and coaching four Heisman Trophy winners.
Aside from his coaching achievements, Saban has been involved in philanthropic efforts, including the Nick’s Kids Foundation, which has distributed over $13 million to various charities. He has also made substantial donations to support first-generation scholarships and local community projects.
