West Virginia University Football Scouting Promising 3-Star Wide Receiver from Georgia for 2026 Season


The WVU football staff has extended an offer to three-star wide receiver prospect Dawson Quarterman from Georgia. Quarterman, a 2026 recruit, now has WVU on his list of offers along with schools such as Colorado, Kentucky, and Syracuse. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound receiver currently attends Grayson High School in Loganville, Ga.

WVU wide receivers coach Ryan Garrett personally reached out to Quarterman with the offer, adding to the recent offers Quarterman has received from East Carolina and FAU. Quarterman, who started his high school career in Florida, is ranked as a three-star player by ESPN and 247 Sports.

The Mountaineers are continuing to focus on recruiting talent from Georgia, with Quarterman being the latest addition to their target list. WVU is hopeful that Quarterman will choose to join their program and bring his skills to Morgantown.
