Harvard men’s volleyball team is set to hit the road to Charleston, West Virginia to take on the Golden Eagles. The Crimson currently holds a 3-5 record overall and a 1-1 record in EIVA action. In their recent matchup against Penn State, Harvard managed to snap the Nittany Lions’ 38-match EIVA win streak with a 3-0 victory, led by Sawyer Nichols with 10 kills.
The team has shown a balanced attack with multiple players contributing to their success. They hold the second spot in the league for service aces and have strong defensive players like Brian Thomas who ranks second in blocks and Logan Shepherd in digs.
With a history of dominance over the Golden Eagles, holding a 9-5 lead in the all-time series, Harvard aims to continue their winning streak. After this road trip, the team will return home to face Sacred Heart in a weekend series. Harvard fans can catch all the action on February 22 and 23 at the Malkin Athletic Center.
