Sarah Armstrong Tucker, West Virginia’s chancellor of Higher Education, encourages high school seniors to complete the FAFSA and apply for financial aid programs. The FAFSA is also required for access to federal financial aid and serves as the application for the Higher Education Grant Program. Students can seek assistance with filing the FAFSA and applications by calling the state’s financial aid hotline at 877-987-7664. They can also sign up for the “Txt 4 Success” college counseling program by visiting cfwvconnect.com/txt-4-success/.
