The West Virginia University golf team participated in the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate in Henderson, Nevada. Kaleb Wilson led the team with an even par round, placing him tied for 21st. Max Green shot +2, Carson Kammann and Todd Duncan were +3, and Pierce Grieve was +4. Ryan Leach competed as an individual and shot +5. As a team, the Mountaineers are in ninth place at +8. The second round of competition will start at 8 a.m. PT on Tuesday, with the third and final round taking place on Wednesday morning. West Virginia University will look to improve its standing in the tournament as they continue to compete in the upcoming rounds.
