Midland College is proud to introduce its 2025 group of Applied Technology Ambassadors, high school seniors excelling in fields like diesel tech, automotive, and energy tech. These students will serve as leaders in their programs and connect with industry professionals and the community. Department Chair Erick Gutierrez expressed excitement for the impact these students will have on the local workforce and economy. Selected students must be seniors in an MC Career Academy, maintain good grades, secure a recommendation, and commit to a one-year term. They will represent MC at industry events, mentor younger students, and receive a scholarship. The Ambassadors program aims to provide students with hands-on training, professional development, and pathways to successful careers in the Permian Basin and beyond.
