West Virginia Defeats TCU 73-55


TCU suffered a 73-55 loss to West Virginia in their recent road game. Despite getting out to an early lead, TCU fell behind as West Virginia went on an 18-0 run in the first half. Trazarien White led the Frogs in scoring with 11 points, including their first 3-pointer of the game. Redshirt freshman Jace Posey added nine points off the bench during a late rally that cut the deficit to nine points. However, TCU struggled to score in the remaining minutes of the game, going 0-for-8 from the field.

West Virginia was led by Javon Small, who finished with 23 points and 10 assists, shooting 51.9 percent from the field. TCU will face UCF next on Saturday at 3 p.m., airing on ESPN+. TCU’s head coach Jamie Dixon now has a 20-17 record against the Mountaineers, but the team dropped to 8-19 all-time against West Virginia. TCU is now 2-8 on the road and allowed West Virginia to make 11 3-pointers, the second-most against TCU this season.
