Guntry West Virginia, a new state-of-the-art shooting range, is set to open at The Highlands after five years of planning. The 50,000-square-foot facility boasts 18 indoor ranges, including a long range with advanced cameras and iPads for shooters. The $15 million facility was praised by local law enforcement officials as a significant advancement for public safety training.

The range features a golf simulator, tactical simulator, restaurant, retail, and a private VIP club room, making it a unique destination in the area. General Manager Jason Rine highlighted the economic benefits the facility is expected to bring to the region, attracting customers from nearby states like Ohio and Pennsylvania.

A community open house is scheduled for Saturday, with a grand opening set for March 6. Once opened, Guntry West Virginia will operate seven days a week with varying hours. Local law enforcement officials expressed excitement about the training opportunities the range will provide and the convenience of having such a facility in the area.
