The University of Cincinnati women’s basketball team ended the regular season with a 15-13 overall record and a 7-11 mark in Big 12 play after a loss to No. 18 West Virginia on Senior Day. The team now turns its focus to the 2025 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship starting on March 5 in Kansas City. Senior players Jillian Hayes, Tineya Hylton, and Daylee Dunn were honored for their contributions to the program’s growth. Hayes scored 20 points in her final home game, leading the team in points, rebounds, and steals. Fellow senior Hylton added 15 points, and sophomore Reagan Jackson surpassed 500 career points. Cincinnati fought hard against West Virginia but struggled with rebounding and eventually lost 85-69. Despite the loss, the team showed resilience and will look to make a strong showing in the upcoming championship tournament.
