The team dominated the glass, outrebounding the Bearcats 47-29, with a 21-9 advantage on the offensive boards. Junior guard Jordan Harrison contributed 21 points, while freshman forward Jordan Thomas added 16 points and 8 rebounds.

The win marked the team’s second-fewest Big 12 conference losses in a season and the fewest since 2014. The Mountaineers led throughout the game, with Quinerly scoring the team’s opening points and maintaining a hot hand throughout.

West Virginia now looks ahead to the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship, where they will determine their seed on Sunday evening. The championship is set to take place from March 5-9 at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
