Indian airline IndiGo has announced a partnership with technology company Amadeus to implement advanced Revenue Management technology, Amadeus Segment Revenue Management Flex (Amadeus SRM Flex). This new system will provide IndiGo with enhanced efficiency and support its rapid growth in India and beyond.
The cloud-based Revenue Management technology integrates seamlessly with IndiGo’s Navitaire New Skies® Passenger Service System, allowing for quick responses to market shifts and changes in bookings or flight operations. The system offers flexibility to adjust pricing strategies and automate repetitive tasks to drive operational efficiency and revenue growth.
Abhijit Dasgupta, Senior Vice President of Planning and Revenue Management at IndiGo, highlighted that Amadeus’ technology will allow the airline to make faster, smarter decisions and focus on more sophisticated Revenue Management strategies to support its expanding network. The partnership will enable IndiGo to integrate its data science and machine learning capabilities with Amadeus’ solutions for long-term success.
Javier Laforgue, Executive Vice President of the Travel Unit at Amadeus, expressed excitement about collaborating with IndiGo to maximize revenue opportunities and improve operational efficiencies. The partnership will position IndiGo for success as it continues to grow both domestically and internationally.
With a fleet of over 400 aircraft and more than 2,200 daily flights, IndiGo is one of India’s fastest-growing airlines.
