Three individuals, two of whom were wanted in multiple states, were arrested in a theft investigation in northern West Virginia. The investigation began when a Frontier Communications truck was reported stolen in Romney, WV. Subsequently, a GMC Sierra was reported stolen nearby. The stolen GMC truck was located in Cumberland, MD, towing a stolen trailer, leading to the arrest of Lindsey Teresi. Another male passenger fled in the stolen Frontier truck.
Following the discovery of additional stolen items, including firearms, generators, and trailers at a campground west of Romney, Johnathan Church and Jarel Schaefer, both convicted felons and fugitives from multiple agencies, were arrested. The recovered stolen items were valued at approximately $70,000.
The individuals were charged with grand larceny, possession of stolen property, felon in possession of firearms, conspiracy, and being fugitives from justice. The West Virginia State Police conducted the investigation and arrest.
