West Virginia Kicks Off Postseason Play on Wednesday

The West Virginia University men’s basketball team is set to begin postseason play on Wednesday afternoon against the Colorado Buffaloes at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. Colorado secured their spot in the matchup after upsetting TCU in the first round.

While Colorado has won four of their last eight games, the Mountaineers have had a strong season finishing with a 19-12 record and remaining solidly in NCAA Tournament projections. The Mountaineers will face off against Colorado after defeating UCF in their final regular-season game.

Despite a strong schedule that includes six Quad 1 wins and facing tough opponents in the Big 12, West Virginia’s performance has landed them a favorable position in NCAA Tournament projections. Their game against Colorado will be televised on ESPN+ at 3 p.m. ET, with radio coverage available through Mountaineer Sports Network.

The winner of Wednesday’s game will go on to face top-seeded Houston in the next round of the tournament. Coach Darian DeVries’ Mountaineers are looking to continue their strong showing and make a deep run in the postseason.
