The George Mason University men’s tennis team had a successful run at the PTR Springfest in Hilton Head, finishing with a 3-1 record. They started the day by sweeping Berry College with a 7-0 victory, followed by a 4-0 win over West Virginia State in the afternoon. The Patriots dominated in doubles play, only dropping three games total. In singles, Ekansh Kumar, Monil Lotlikar, Fahim, Shari Saeed, Rayam El khalifi, and Dustin Ha all secured victories in straight sets. The team also won the doubles point in the afternoon session, with Jacco Arends and Fahim grabbing wins in singles play as well. Next up, the Patriots will play Longwood on March 21 at the Mason Tennis Courts in Fairfax. With their impressive performance at the PTR Springfest, the team is looking to carry their momentum into upcoming matches.
