West Virginia Falls to No. 31 Arizona in Away Game


The West Virginia University women’s tennis team suffered a 4-0 loss to No. 31 Arizona in Tucson on Sunday. Arizona secured the doubles point early on to take a 1-0 lead. Despite putting up a fight in singles play, the Mountaineers were unable to overcome the Wildcats. Graduate student Julie Bousseau and freshman Laura Villanueva Morillo both suffered losses in their respective matches. Arizona ultimately clinched the match with a victory over WVU senior Mille Haagensen. West Virginia will now return home to Morgantown to face Utah on Thursday, March 20th.
