The West Virginia University track and field team wrapped up the Raleigh Relays with standout performances from Izayah Everett, Naomi Kemboi, and Sarah Tait. Redshirt sophomore Everett achieved a personal best time of 25.01 in the 200 meters, while freshman Kemboi set a new 5,000-meter record for WVU with a time of 15:39.17, placing sixth. Graduate student Tait also impressed by becoming the second-fastest Mountaineer in the event with a time of 15:40.00, finishing seventh overall. The team will next compete at the Dalton Ebanks Invitational in Fairfax, Virginia, and the Stanford Invitational in Stanford, California on April 4-5.
