Pittsburgh (Pa.) Imani Christian 2027 safety Gabriel Jenkins recently visited West Virginia with their new coaching staff in place. Jenkins, a 6-foot-2, 187-pound four-star prospect, was impressed with the Mountaineers’ defense during a spring practice session. He had the opportunity to meet head coach Rich Rodriguez and his staff in person and discuss his potential as a strong safety in their scheme.
Jenkins also toured the facilities and campus, and has developed a connection with the West Virginia coaching staff. They have expressed interest in his height, weight, wingspan, and athletic ability. Jenkins plans to return for another visit to West Virginia and also has a visit planned for Ohio State.
Overall, Jenkins had a positive experience at West Virginia and is considering his options as he continues to explore potential college football programs. He was pleased with the visit and the opportunity to see how the coaching staff operates during practice.
