West Virginia transfer guard Sencire Harris has committed to Cincinnati, as announced by Joe Tipton on Twitter. The 6-4 sophomore from Canton, Ohio put up solid numbers this season, averaging 5.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. Harris began his career at Illinois before joining the Mountaineers.
In more positive news for West Virginia University, football recruit Camdon Pitchford has announced his commitment to the school after a promising phone call with Coach Garrett. Pitchford expressed his excitement about continuing his academic and football career at WVU.
The Big 12 conference continues to make waves in college basketball, with Houston making it to the NCAA Tournament’s National Championship Game this year. Since 2019, the Big 12 has sent four teams to the final game, the most of any conference in college basketball. Over that same period, two of the three prior teams from the Big 12 have gone on to win the national title.
