Johnson, a highly-rated four-star prospect out of high school, has played in 69 games and made 13 starts during her time at Texas Tech. She averaged 4.6 points per game as a freshman and improved to 5.4 points per game as a sophomore. Additionally, Johnson contributed 1.6 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game while maintaining a strong shooting percentage of 38.9% from three-point range and 52.3% overall.
