Athletic Director Wren Baker confirmed the program will operate at a full share, enhancing its competitive edge amid a rapidly evolving landscape.
Recent projects include the installation of new turf on both the practice field and the stadium — a move praised by head coach Rich Rodriguez, who emphasized the necessity of these upgrades. Even prior to Rodriguez’s return to Morgantown, this commitment to modernization was evident, highlighted by a remarkable $55 million enhancement to the Puskar Center.
“This facility looks completely different from when I was here 17 years ago,” Rodriguez noted, affirming that the program now boasts extensive resources. He underscored the importance of presenting West Virginia football as an institution fully dedicated to excellence. “When recruits and families first enter this building, it’s clear there’s a commitment to football,” he stated.
