Golden Ticket Cinemas Set to Open at Ohio Valley Mall
St. Clairsville, OH — The Ohio Valley Mall is set to welcome a new era of cinematic experience as Golden Ticket Cinemas prepares to open its doors, replacing AMC Theater, which ceased operations in September. This will mark Golden Ticket’s first location in Ohio.
President John Bloemeke promises a luxurious viewing experience featuring reclining seats, an extensive food and beverage selection, and delivery service right to customers’ seats. The cinema will also introduce a state-of-the-art 4K laser projection system and immersive sound technologies.
Bloemeke highlighted that the theater will incorporate a 27-tap beer wall, allowing patrons to sample various brews before enjoying their films. While a specific opening date is not yet confirmed, he anticipates the theater will launch before the 2025 holiday season, coinciding with the release of major blockbusters like sequels to "Avatar" and "Zootopia."
Joe Bell, director of communications for the mall’s parent company, Cafaro Co., expressed enthusiasm for the new addition and believes Golden Ticket will enhance the local movie-viewing landscape. Bloemeke aims to keep ticket prices competitive, introducing affordable options to ensure everyone can enjoy a night at the movies.
