West Virginia Football Players Sign with NFL Teams Following Draft
The NFL Draft has concluded, marking an exciting time for undrafted free agents as they begin signing with professional teams. Several former West Virginia Mountaineers have secured spots on various rosters.
Notably, Garrett Greene, the former WVU quarterback, has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, transitioning to a wide receiver after a standout college career where he rushed for 889 yards and threw for 2,300 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Defensive tackle Fatorma Mulbah has inked a deal with the New York Jets with impressive stats of 50 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and one sack during his time at WVU.
Cornerback Garnett Hollis Jr. has joined the Tennessee Titans after transferring to WVU for his final season, where he recorded 27 tackles and six pass breakups.
Other signings include TJ Jackson with the Seattle Seahawks, Kole Taylor with the Cincinnati Bengals, and Austin Brinkman with the Houston Texans. Jackson excelled defensively with 40 tackles and 6.5 sacks, Taylor amassed 78 receptions and seven touchdowns, while Brinkman established himself as a top long snapper in college.
