Grand Opening of Summer House Lifestyle in Watersound Town Center
Watersound, FL – Summer House Lifestyle, a renowned interior design studio and lifestyle boutique, is set to celebrate the grand opening of its new location in Watersound Town Center on May 1. After 12 successful years in Uptown Grayton Beach, the firm has relocated to a spacious 4,100-square-foot site, which includes an innovative design bar for client consultations.
Founded by designer Melissa Skowlund, Summer House Lifestyle aims to enhance the customer experience beyond conventional shopping. “We want to create beauty, large or small, in our clients’ lives,” Skowlund stated, highlighting Watersound’s excellent location for their expanding clientele. The new space, organized by room, allows customers to explore fully styled environments that reflect the studio’s sophisticated aesthetic of timeless elegance.
The studio’s portfolio ranges from Gulf-front properties along 30A to urban homes in cities like Washington D.C. and New York. Skowlund’s notable projects include a Nashville horse farm estate and a waterfront property in Greenwich, Connecticut.
In addition to home furnishings such as white linen couches and woven textiles, the boutique will showcase clothing and accessories from brands like Anna Beck Jewelry and Krewe Eyewear.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce will take place at 4 p.m., followed by a grand opening celebration featuring refreshments and giveaways. The public is warmly invited to join the festivities.
