WVU Football Welcomes New Transfers Under Rich Rodriguez
MORGANTOWN, WV – Rich Rodriguez is making an immediate impact upon his return to West Virginia University, hitting the ground running in recruiting efforts. Recent additions to the Mountaineers include offensive tackle Ayden Bussell, edge rusher Devin Grant, wide receiver Logan Ramper, and defensive lineman Elijah Simmons, who are poised to strengthen the team for the 2025 season.
Ayden Bussell, a transfer from Tennessee, arrives as a redshirt sophomore with three years of eligibility. Rodriguez has emphasized the need for depth and experience in the offensive line, which now boasts 22 players.
