Press Release: Exciting Summer Concert Series Set for Tri-State Area
As summer unfolds, music enthusiasts in the Tri-State Area will have ample opportunity to enjoy live performances in stunning outdoor settings. The Brooke County Area Chamber of Commerce kicked off the season on Memorial Day with Monthly Monday Music Madness, featuring the band Twice As Nice at Follansbee Park. Upcoming shows are scheduled for June 16, June 30, July 14, July 28, Aug. 11, and Aug. 25, alternating between Follansbee Park and Wellsburg.
The Historic Fort Steuben Concert Series returns with its 19th season, kicking off June 8 at Berkman Amphitheater featuring Linden and Melvin, alongside the Electric Light Orchestra tribute band Into The Blue. Concerts will continue every Thursday through July 31, with special performances like the Jazz Ambassadors on June 23.
In Weirton, the Top of West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau is debuting a Second Saturdays festival, starting June 14 with live music and local vendors. Multiple towns, including Toronto and Chester, also have concert series lined up throughout the summer.
These events, sponsored by local businesses and organized by dedicated volunteers, offer free admission, inviting everyone to experience live music in a community setting. Attendees are encouraged to donate, ensuring the continuation of these cherished performances.
