Cleveland St. Ignatius standout wide receiver Trey Haddad made a significant impact during a one-day camp at West Virginia, showcasing his talents and securing a scholarship offer. The 6-foot-0, 170-pound athlete impressed the coaching staff with numerous exceptional catches throughout the event, leaving a lasting impression.
“I was extremely humbled and also excited to receive an offer,” Haddad expressed after the camp. He noted the valuable experience he gained while working closely with wide receivers coach Ryan Garrett, who provided insightful feedback on route running and ball skills. “Coach Garrett gave me so much feedback on the specifics of playing the position,” he added.
This was Haddad’s first visit to Morgantown, and he was thrilled with what he encountered. “The facilities were amazing. I was super impressed,” he stated. As he shifts his focus from football to basketball, Haddad is unsure of his next summer visit, having recently concluded his track season. With his talent and dedication, the future looks bright for this promising young athlete.
