Miss West Virginia 2024 Advocates for Wellness During Visit to ARC Appalachia
KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — This week, Miss West Virginia 2024, Jennifer Reuther, visited ARC Appalachia to reflect on her impactful year as a titleholder. Living with type one diabetes, Reuther has transformed her personal experiences into a mission, leading her initiative, ‘Wellness Across West Virginia,’ aimed at promoting health and well-being throughout the state.
During her visit, Reuther emphasized the importance of wellness education and accessibility, sharing her journey and the initiatives she has championed. After her reign concludes, she plans to dedicate herself to a career as a physician assistant in Charleston, furthering her commitment to health advocacy.
The upcoming Miss West Virginia 2025 pageant is scheduled to take place from June 18-21 at The Airborne Event Center in Martinsburg. As the event approaches, Reuther’s legacy of health promotion and community engagement will undoubtedly inspire the next generation of contestants. Her passion for wellness continues to resonate, enhancing her impactful role in West Virginia’s communities.
