Press Release: Local Defensive Lineman Shines at West Virginia Camp
Danville, VA – Christopher Law, a 2026 defensive lineman from George Washington High School, showcased his talent at the recent West Virginia one-day football camp. Weighing in at 275 pounds and standing 6-foot-2, Law made his inaugural visit to Morgantown, where he felt an instant connection with the program. “My camp visit went great. Overall, great school, great facilities, and the coaches made it feel like home,” he remarked.
At the camp, Law primarily worked with defensive line coach William Green, praising the coaching staff for their exceptional guidance. “The coaches were outstanding. They taught you the technique and provided critiquing to ensure you were on the right path,” he noted. The feedback he received highlighted his hustle and work ethic, with the Mountaineers particularly impressed by his agility off the line.
Focused on the defensive tackle position, Law expressed satisfaction with his performance but acknowledged room for improvement. He has upcoming visits scheduled with Liberty and Western Michigan but is open to returning to Morgantown if given the opportunity. “If I was blessed with that chance,” he emphasized. Law continues to pursue excellence in his football career.
