Westerville’s D’Nilyeon Taylor Impressed by West Virginia Official Visit
Westerville North’s 2026 offensive lineman D’Nilyeon Taylor recently returned from an official visit to West Virginia University, leaving with a favorable impression of the football program. The 6-foot-5, 295-pound prospect has been considering the Mountaineers since receiving an offer on April 12 and took this visit to explore Morgantown and its facilities more thoroughly.
Reflecting on his experience, Taylor expressed enthusiasm: "I loved the official visit." He engaged extensively with coaching staff members, including offensive line coach Jack Bicknell and head coach Rich Rodriguez, as well as assistant coaches and current players. This interaction allowed Taylor to gauge the direction of the program and envision how he might fit into it.
"The visit helped clarify my understanding of the program and its goals," he stated, noting it positively impacted West Virginia’s standing in his recruitment. As he plans to finalize his college decision by the end of June, Taylor acknowledged that the Mountaineers made a strong case during his visit. “WVU is a great place with a coaching staff that believes in my potential,” he added, indicating that he feels confident if he were to commit.
